Diane's UFO account:

I have always hoped to see a UFO and now I think I have.

Last December 23, 2011, I saw something I can't explain. I was in Portland, Oregon, at SW Taylors Ferry Road and SW Terwilliger Blvd. It was 4:30 PM after work, and I was driving home.  I was stopped and waiting at a very long light in the left turn lane of SW Taylors Ferry Rd.  I was going to turn south onto SW Terwilliger Blvd.

Looking toward the skyline, off to the west, I saw some very large, marbled gray, rain clouds fairly close to the ground, maybe about four to six hundred yards away. Just beneath them, not far from me, maybe three hundred yards away, I saw something stationary just below the clouds. It was large and about the size of two jumbo jets. It seemed camouflaged, so close to the clouds. It was long, almost rectangular shaped, but tapered on the ends. This part was shaded gray.

There was another part, which was tubular in shape about 1/4 the size of the rectangle and it was at 45 degrees pointing toward the ground. This tube looked as if the sun was shining off of it — only brighter, but not glaring, just very, very bright.  Except this didn’t make sense because it was cloudy with gray, rainy clouds. It was 4:30 PM, and the winter sun is gone by then. So how could that be? Where was the light coming from?

I looked around to see if anyone else was seeing it. I couldn't tell. This left turn light is a long light.  And I believe I had at least three minutes to look at the UFO.  I didn't pull over immediately to look at it or take a cell phone picture. I didn't get excited. I was rather calm.  It was as if I saw this kind of thing everyday. And here all my life I have wanted to see a UFO, and then when I did, I didn't do anything!!!  I can't believe that!!!

I am sure it was there. What should I do with this information? Thank you for listening. I couldn't hold it in any longer. Did anyone else see this?
