At Oregon MUFON, we investigate UFOs and related phenomena and do our best to help people understand what we have learned. Oregon MUFON is affiliated with the Mutual UFO Network, Inc., which is the largest UFO investigative organization in the United States. It was formed in 1969 by UFO-interested citizens because it was felt that our government and the scientific establishment were not doing enough to find answers to this on-going mystery in our skies.
Meetings
We have monthly meetings if you'd like to attend. We work to have interesting programs each meeting. Sometimes we prepare them ourselves and sometimes we find speakers. If you'd like to speak at a MUFON meeting, contact us and we'll see what we can arrange.
At each of our meetings, we try to make time for people to speak their minds on UFOs in formal "five minutes per person" sessions. Join us and tell us about your experiences or opinions about UFOs. You don't have to be a member of MUFON to come, but we'd certainly like you to join eventually. By joining MUFON you can do your part to help solve the UFO puzzle by promoting investigation of UFOs and public education about them.
Investigations
We don't just talk about UFOs. We actually do investigation of UFO incidents at Oregon MUFON. Our team has over 60 years of experience. Become part of our team. You'll receive education and training in how to do investigation in a professional way. We present the results of our investigations at our meetings, especially when events are more than "lights in the sky," of which we've had a few over the months and years we've been doing investigation. There is no better way to get into UFOs and understand them from the ground up than investigating them "on the ground."
