On May 12 through 15, 2016, McMenamins is presenting its 17th Annual UFO Festival in downtown McMinnville, Oregon. This year the festival focusses on the Phoenix (Arizona) Lights UFO fly-over of March 13, 1997, where many 100s of people witnessed the 8 to 8:30 PM UFO event. Others witnessed the 10 PM flares event perpetrated by our military to confuse the public about what occurred. Learn from witnesses about the earlier UFO event. Witnesses Dr. Lynne Kitei and Sue Watson will speak as well as Phoenix city councilwoman at the time, Frances Barwood. She called for an open and honest investigation of the UFO event, but was stymied at every turn. Additional speakers are the Navajo Nation law enforcement officers Jonathan Dover and Stanley Milford, Jr., who will give their perspective on the Phoenix Lights event in addition to other paranormal phenomena occurring on Navajo Nation lands.
