Oregon MUFON will begin meetings in Eugene, Oregon, on November 19, 2019, at 7 PM at the Market of Choice at 67 W 29th Avenue.  We hope to continue these meetings once a month, but that will depend on attendance.  Come join us to discuss and learn about the serious side of UFOs.  MUFON is all about UFO investigation and public education.  If you want the good stuff, including responsible speculation about what UFOs are, MUFON is the place for you.  

UFO openness in the United States entered a new era on December 17, 2017, when the New York Times published a front page article on the U.S.S. Nimitz UFO incident of November 14, 2004, which occurred during a combat training exercise off the coast of Southern California.  For the first time in 70 years of UFO coverage, the New York Times treated a UFO story as if UFOs are real.  Previously, the New York Times accepted and promoted the U.S. government stance on UFOs: UFOs are not evidence of an alien intelligence.  But now we have entered a new era, and we can be adults and discuss UFOs openly and seriously.

Attend our Oregon MUFON meetings and learn the truth as much as it is known publicly at this time.  A lot more remains hidden by the U.S. government, but at least the New York Times has finally gotten the ball rolling to eventual formal U.S. government disclosure.  Be forewarned, however, UFOs go to the heart of reality itself so "disclosure" will be a years long process.
